Went out running around with Cakes. ...Went to North Cross again. ...took a bunch of pictures with her camera. And then suddenly, this random guy who was assumably drunk in an SUV with big yellow lights on the roof RAN INTO ONE OF THE FENCES, knocked it down, and drove off spinning his tires. We bailed, both because that was scary and we thought he may have been running from the cops or something (which we later rationalized as improbable, given how slow he'd been going and how we hadn't heard his approach). Fled through the fence he knocked down, remembered I'd parked my car inside the place because there are two big open areas of the fence where the machines get in, and booked it across the dusty marble flooring to get back to my car. Turned a 180 with my lights off and faster than I've ever left a parking lot. ... Well, slow enough to not look suspicious, but it sort of looked like I was driving quickly like I had to pee (which Cakes, if I recall correctly, did).
