Jeffrey Harris: I read something online that the actress that who plays the younger version of Amy, Caitlin Blackwood, is your cousin. Is that true?
Karen Gillan: Yeah, yeah, it's true. She's my cousin. I think she did a fantastic job. She's never done any acting before. Yeah, I was just so impressed with her.
Jeffrey Harris: So who was cast first, Caitlin or you?
Karen Gillan: Me *laughs*.
Jeffrey Harris: I think it's pretty amazing because she does look like a younger version of you.
Karen Gillan: I know, I know! You know I think it was smart to find a younger version of me because I have a weird accent and ginger hair *laughs*.
Jeffrey Harris: I think that the Doctor in all his regenerations wants to be a ginger but ends up with a ginger companion; I think the irony is hilarious.
Karen Gillan: I know, it's so funny *laughs*.
