Packing.
I continue to be surprised by how long it takes to prepare for a move like this.
This time around, the delays are because of all the boxes and drawers and cupboards of stuff that was left behind when I moved to the UK in 2002. I'm going through it, and deciding which bits to keep (eg. old photos) and which things to throw away (eg. old bank statements and receipts).
This, plus deciding which things are going in the "Move 1" boxes (to go down with me in the car on Monday) and which things are going into "Move 2" boxes, which are going down along with my furniture, at a date yet to be decided in the future.. but after I've found a place to live in Melbourne.
The "Move 1" stuff is mainly things like my popular clothes, laptop, PC, other PC, camera, etc.. but I'm going to try and fit at least part of my hi-fi in too; although the speakers command a rather large portion of the available space :(
