Part 1 was awful. We had some people over to watch a movie afterwards and they arrived early to witness Part 1 as their first ever Who episode. They thought it was so awful, they decided it was okay to talk over it. Awful, but still not okay to talk over! It was very rude.

It just seemed like a shit preamble to a potentially good second part, didn't it? But we all know how RTD manages with second parts... :(

I thought RTD was supposed to be gone by now, but here he is, popping up in all the behind the scenes shows that are running. I am so confused.

No, these are RTD's last episodes. He's written EVERYTHING since Turn Left. Moffat takes over with Series 5/30something/1 next year - though he's apparently written the New Years special's final scene (with Eleven).
