interesting times...

Ahhh, it's been a while since my flist exploded; for a short while yesterday I was scratching my head and flashing back to fall of 2006, yikes. But this time around, I feel fairly unemotional and quite okay about this, this being KAT-TUN touring without Jin and Jin performing solo shows in LA (with possibly more after).

Okay, unemotional is a lie - excited and curious is more like it. Obviously, guys, Johnnys is a business, and as such, business opportunities are a big deal. I hardly see this as some selfish choice of Jin's - rather, Johnnys is going to milk every last yen they can get out of their investment in the group and the members. Someone comes along and says they want Jin's solo con in the U.S., I hardly see management saying NO, NO, please don't give our investment such exposure, please don't pay us. As if anyone can say no to such chances right now (Johnnys might not be hurting economically the way that many companies are - but that's just speculation, because they very well could be); I think it's just sensible for the company to be interested in growth and expanding their markets.

It only sucks for the timing; yes, it's a pity that Jin can't join the rest of KAT-TUN for their first ever tour of Asia, but seriously, why wouldn't he do this, and why wouldn't the company make grabby hands at the chance to make more money off one of their investments?

I know most of you don't need any convincing. :) It's the real JE world, after all, which doesn't have anything to do with sentimentality.

Like I said, I'm excited and curious - and I feel an extra thrill because c'mon, think of the fic! (these are um, interesting plot developments) :D I swear, that's sometimes the first thing I think of, kill me now. :D :D :D
