Quickly...
1. Sasaki Fusai no Jingi Naki Tatakai is being subbed! Now I can finally add it to my current drama list. I have no idea when I'll get around to watching it, but it's nice that now I can.
2. Kame's [alleged: see comments] disappearing-underwear-scandal is one of the funniest things I've heard recently. This will never, never stop being funny. [eta: and Ichipon 5 hardsubs are out!]
3. I got to watch Torchwood episodes 5 & 6, "Adam" and "Reset!" And I liked them! Adam, of course, reminded me a little of a 4th season episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer ("Superstar") when Jonathan casts a spell that makes him the greatest guy ever. I wonder if we'll see any lasting effects of what he did to their memories, or if the amnesia pill really did the trick. I did scoff at what I saw as a plothole - Jack should have written up a report explaining what happened so that they know for the future. Instead they all wake up wondering why 48 hours are missing and all their data is wiped. I find that irresponsible. What if another being like Adam were to come through? Forewarned is forearmed, right?
And the end of Reset! I hope that isn't the end of Owen, because I genuinely like him (much more this season than last), and it would be so heartbreaking for Toshiko to have made a little progress with him, only to lose him entirely. And MARTHA. Yes, I know how they always make such a big deal about Martha, but I love it - in a way, she's us, the know-it-all, a bit jaded but still full of wonder and glee person that we fans are. I love how she dovetails with the TW team, and I love how fearless she comes across. I also loved all the allusions to what she and Jack went through, and the way they discussed the Doctor. Nice. :)
