1. Stardust was awesome. Really, really awesome! I was literally crying tears of joy by the end of the film and it was a while before I could wipe the grin off my face. I love Neil Gaiman so much, and they did a great job of adapting his beautiful graphic novel (gorgeously illustrated by Charles Vess) to film. Speaking of Neil Gaiman,
he got to hug a panda in China and it's so adorable!
2. Watched History Boys and Almodóvar's La Mala Educación (Bad Education) on Saturday and they were also terrific films. The former was incredibly thought-provoking and the latter was fascinating. I thought it was amusing (and entirely unintentional) that we watched two completely different films that had something to do with boys' schools in the same day.
3. Today I finally taught myself how to make paper cranes. Little things make me gleeful, and this accomplishment makes me giddy, especially since it's not easy for me to learn things like this when I can't visualize them - and the instructions in my book were less than clear. No, they're not perfect, but they definitely look bird-like...
