OH. Wonderful long post ♥ It's always nice to hear what everybody else thinks :D

This is going to be long though;

The drama's actors have done an okay job and so has the director, but I think the manuscript for this drama could have been more - thought through?

I get why he felt like he never had the chance to tell Rei his feelings.
But I still can't quite respect Ken. It seems that all he had to do was wait a few more seconds to be alone with her. If Ken didn't find Rei where he thought she was, he should have called her. He should have gone to her house. He should have asked people if they had seen her. He should have tried the next day. He should have made just a little bit more of an effort.

"...I can hardly blame her for choosing the guy who confessed as opposed to the guy she cared for but who never gave her a solid idea that he reciprocated her unspoken feelings (neither gave the other the chance to be accepted, which is a pity)."
For me, the only difference between Ken and Rei, is that Ken is more stubborn and won't let his feelings go.
Rei too, tried to give Ken her letter and tell him her feelings, but in the end she never waited long enough for him to 'get it' and give a reply. Rei simply stated; "The answer never came/there wasn't an answer". Then, why? Does Ken not mean that much to her? This doesn't seem to be true since she seemed rather bitter about not working things out with him.

Rei settled for a guy, which in a lot of ways were very much like Ken, but actually managed to convey his love for her. I have a feeling Rei really did 'settle' for him though. Even though I don't blame her either, it seems as if Rei found an easy way out. Tada-san is the safe way, the easy way. He is Ken without Rei having to pour her heart out.

In the end, ProDai is a drama that had a lot of potential. It's turned out to be quite confusing though! I can't quite grasp it, and when I think I do, I get even more confused XDD
