'Tatta Hitotsu no Koi' ep 9 short comment

Dec 11, 2006 10:40

I checked and checked and checked for the subtitles to come out before I left for work, and now that they've just come out, I couldn't wait until I got home. I was even rewatching ep 9 on the train this a.m., so the scenes were fresh in my mind, and now I have just read through the entire .srt file: WAAAAAAAH.

sometimes when i'm lazy and my not-so-fluent japanese, i would watch past episodes with subs. but for episode 9 i forced myself to listen to the dialogue carefully without subs... and found myself crying through various scenes in this episode.

the ferry scene.. the reality just hurts so bad. and hiroto's and nao's tears totally killed me... DDDDDD:

it is so painful that i've no idea how hiroto managed to talk to nao after he saw the diamond ring on her hand. and then i thought about the HN ring that he made for her... *dies*

now, i'm really really scared about what kind of ending they will have. DDDDDDDD:

i meant "sometimes, when i'm lazy and with my not-so-fluent japanese" *guilty of missing words, typos and grammatical errors all the time*

Don't worry about the typos - I make them ALL the time!

Exactly. It's just mind-boggling to think of the pain Hiroto has suffered and continues to suffer. I still mourn the loss of that gorgeous HN ring. I wish he had kept it in a box like Nao kept all of the things that reminded her of him.

*nods* I guess they handle things differently. Perhaps hiroto knew that he might regret or waver in his decision because he loves nao so much. In order to prevent himself from turning back, he had to destroy all physical momentos (the HN ring would be the first to go) of their r/s. After all, the memeories were already painful enough...

But it was a pity that nao didn't get to know about the existence of the HN ring, or things might have been different...

I kinda forgot about that ring while watching this episode :O *whacked* But now that you mentioned it, gosh, I really can't imagine the pain that Hiroto was made to go through. I mean, there he was, talking about how things could've been different for them if only he had asked her to wait and take the time apart as the time to patch things up with the people around them and all. Adding the "What if" questions that come with the HN ring is just... too painful ;o;

I mourn the loss of that ring too. It was so pretty, and made with so much love.

And it was so heartbreaking to see the whale when Hiroto put all the stuff in the boxes for the move.

And her box with the knitted gloves. I mourn that Christmas Eve that never happened for them.
