I think that Yamapi's TBC commercial is trying to make my head explode with the pretty. Holy frak, that is some pretty, and way too short! :)
Now that filming is wrapping up/has wrapped up for Byakkotai, I'm getting even more excited to see it in January, and I (like others, I'm sure) am really curious as to how long this drama is going to be since they spent two and a half months filming it?! I'm hoping for something like 4-6 hours over the two nights, but of course, I have no idea. Does anyone know?
Speaking of dramas, the OST to Tatta Hitotsu no Koi is eating a hole in my brain, along with fungus- like "Bokura no Machi de." The soundtrack is gorgeous, gorgeous, as we knew it would be! "Cool Whispers" and track 20 are breathtakingly beautiful and I love the celticy feel of "Cool Whispers" and all its various versions. Why do I keep thinking of "Titanic" when I listen to this OST, though? It's really been bugging me. I haven't listened to the Titanic OST in years, but for some reason, I'm reminded of it, but perhaps that is only because of Hiroto's omininous "Titanic" reference a few eps ago and the whole doomed romance aura. The other thing I wanted to mention is that I was thinking this weekend that I may love the THnK OST as much as the Nobuta wo Produce OST which hits my brain in lovely and poignant ways...I seem to recall nihongofrancais mentioning that they are by the same composer? Anyway, I find myself really loving jdorama OSTs in general - the number that I've fallen in love with is rising steadily.
Btw, would anyone be so very kind as to romanise the titles of the Tatta Hitotsu no Koi OST for me?? Pretty please? *puppy eyes*
Speaking of which, I think I read an uncut and completely unwarned spoiler about the end of Tatta Hitotsu no Koi the other day and waaaaah, I DON'T WANT TO KNOW. And just by the by, koalathebear, it was in a place that I would have absolutely NO expectation of being exposed to drama spoilers of any kind. It was just...there. (ETA: koalathebear NEVER spoils people so thoughtlessly; rather it's just that this topic has come up between us before...)
And finally, since I haven't gotten to them until now: I definitely enjoyed the Utawara performance of "Bokura no Machi de" this weekend as well as the full PV, although it was quite an adventure to have to run through four separate downloads until I got one I liked and in which the sound was synced properly. The PV is sooo pretty and angsty! And I still adore the performance costumes, especially Kame & Ueda's. Love those jackets on the boys. I wish I could look as good in Ueda's black coat as he does, but alas, it would never happen.
