That was *awesome*! I really enjoyed the mix of characters, perfectly balanced with the lyrics. Also, nice touch of fades there, you are definately getting the hang of those.

BTW, I think I found Dr Who 1x9 but it's going painfully slow (leeching 2kb/s but seeding 23 kb/s? wtf!). Now I know what kind of pain you went though for your VMs.

Thanks for your kind words. You know I had the timing down even better orignally, but I must have changed some transition or something (cuz it wasn't the clips) and the timing went off a little bit it evenutally worked out close enough. I'm learning (slower than I'd like, but.). Should I post it?

Re: dl-ing Dr. Who...You know it. It's painful...man. :) I'm so glad that the pain is over, lemme tell ya and that I now have my full set of VM. That was like 2.5 weeks of hell. Blech. But I'm so glad you found Ep 9, and also that it was dramatic enough to scare you! Kewl, can't wait to see it.

Yes, it's 3 a.m. Two nights in a row going to bed after 3frickino'clock a.m.

Did you manage to find a good torrent for Dr. Who? I had a bit of a time myself so let me know if you didn't. I think I still have the file here somewheres. And lemme know what you think of it if you get to see it. I don't think you need to see 8 to get 9, you just need to 8 at some point. Oh, and there is a guest star on there that I *adore*.... and it's not the one you'd think I'm talking about.

You should definately post the vid! It's very good work, and you got the over arching touch just right. And don't let the slow learning get you down, it's not easy stuff.

I for once fell asleep before 1am. I was way tired, what with the giggling over "First Nations" and all that. lol

So I just had to watch the new vid and wow wow wow, it's very haunting. I love that song (well, all of what I've heard of McRae is awesome--I'm planning a VM vid to one of his songs), and it was just gorgeous.

I really must go to bed now!

Thank you! Bet you noticed I used a deleted scene, eh? That scene was practically made for that verse, don't tell anyone but it didn't need one bit of editing in my part. Just dropped it and BOOM it fit perfectly. The song & the artist I never heard of, it was recommended to me which is the wonderful thing about vidding. You get to hear all these other music you never would have before. I think I need to check out his other stuff!

Yes, I sure did notice the deleted scene; it was awesome and perfect.

That's one of the things that I've really become very excited about with vids: discovering new music. Last weekend I heard a song in a VM vid, fell in love with it and downloaded off iTunes the next day.

I highly recommend Tom McRae. Good stuff.

Thanks...I had an interesting evening. ;) Late late going away party for someone I'm going to miss quite a lot, even though we didn't spend much time together.

OT, but I dug out a couple of 'Dr. Who Confidential' downloads for 1x08 and 1x09 which are really, really interesting. They were up in demonoid if you were interested. :)

I love OT *grin*-I've been watching the Whos you gave me tonight (almost done with 7). I've been trying to dl Father's Day but it (of course) is taking bloody forever. Maybe I can grab those DWC's on our next data swap?

Not sure I like this new guy...don't even remember his name. I thought he'd be able to deal quite a bit better than he seems to be doing. I love the Dr.'s line to him in #6--"What are you going to do, throw your A-Levels at him?" LOL, that cracked me up.

Next data swap just let me know what you haven't been able to grab (including the DWCs) and I'll put it on the HD.

It took me a minute to figure out who you meant by new guy. Boy, this show moves so fast! Did you like the resolution to the 1st two-parter? I was a bit blah about it but maybe it will make more sense in the big picture with the rest of the season. You have some seriously great lines coming up in 8 and 9 too.
