Food TV in Japan and a little 'Good Luck' picspam

I saw this article today, and I immediately thought of Ogawa and Shinkai stuffing themselves on sushi in the jdorama Good Luck! They are soooo cute! Yes, my brain works in tangential ways like this.

'In Japan, Food as the Ultimate Show' )

dorama, jdorama: good luck, jdorama: takuya kimura, picspam, japan, food

I've never even seen a Kaiten Sushi place, although I have seen revolving dish places before, just not sushi. It sounds wonderful to me, because yum, I love sushi!

Yeah, I think his Good Luck look is my preference amongst all his different "looks." I only wish that he smiled more often in Good Luck...if there was one thing I could change, that would be it. :)

whats good with revolving sushi bars its that you get to eat more of different kinds as its not a heapful of sliced rolls, normally its 2 or 4 pieces in a plate. :) i think i have a post on this, but our pics came out blurry since the sushi was "moving" LOL.

preppy takuya is love. and his relationship with his brother is funny. like he kicks him and stuff. its mean but funny and endearing at the same time. ;)

After about the second or third episode, I think I loved all the characters in Good Luck - and I say that only because I hated Koda at first. HATED him. But as soon as he grew some layers, I could like him. Basically he's an extremely damaged version of Shinkai - otherwise, how could Togashi have loved him for all these years when he was so mean to her and everyone?

Anyway, the whole ensemble cast is good, and so are all the relationships - even the smaller ones like, as you say, Shinkai's relationship with his brother, and also with his dad. And then there's the wacky neighbor who keeps calling him Sho-chan, or whatever. They did a great job with this series!

oh that funny korean neighbor....LOL.

i love the cast coz they are the actors i have seen in movies and past series. :)

but for some reason Pride still holds the key to my pitta patty heart. LOL. i dunno why, maybe because its romantic, and the bad boy takuya is ...love. LOL
