(no subject)
i am soo tired. see, me ren and jess were driving to mcdonald's for some food, and we were listening to planet radio. they said that there was a concert at a club and it was yellowcard and that they had room for 100-200 people. so, pretty much i figured they were going to go and i was going to be stuck at home surfing the web. my mom came in the room when we were eating and so i told her there was a yellowcard concert tonight. she asked if it was asking if i could go. i said yes. and so she said my sister could go if she took me!
so we got ready really fast and we waited in line for over an hour. we figured we weren't going to get in. then finally they were letting people in and we got to the door and the guard said to stop, apparently we had to yeild for some hoochie suckups to come in. i thought he was going to say we had to go home because they were full, but then they let us in, and it was free! it was exciting. so we waited another 45 minutes at the bar [no seats for us] and then they finally came on.
it was just an acoustic show. they didn't mention that on the radio. but hey, it was better than staying at home doing worthless and boring things, right? i saw LP a few times, and i think he saw me staring at him. he is my favorite member of the band, and they are my favorite, i couldn't help it!
they played some songs by jimmy eat world and ben folds and other bands and stuff, only a few of their songs. i'm not surprised because they were prolly kind of tired of their own songs, but i was a little dissapointed because i wanted to show everybody that i knew all the words to most of their songs. i couldn't do that when i went with ashley and them over spring break.
so it finally ended around 11:30 or 11:45 and we came home. that is certainly the highlight of my day! now i can say that i have been to 3 concerts! woo i'm a party animal! no not really. i remember christina mentioning that evanescence was going to orlando this summer and she wanted to go or she was going or something, and i want to go to that because i absolutely adore amy lee and loooove evanescence. then i want to go to warped august 1st. and i think i'm convincing my parents! they even asked how much it was and i said 27.50 and they said 'that's not too bad...'!!!!
to conclude my entry, tonight was great.
