With Jadis' arrival--is it her second? Her first? Caspian doesn't know, but her timing is impeccable. After spending much of his time today on his own, he chooses to seek out the Just.

"Edmund," Caspian asks quietly, giving the doorway two knocks.

The White Witch is back, and with her, the sickening feeling in the pit of his stomach. Not that he'd ever admit it. Ever. He looks up from his network device as Caspian knocks on the door, puzzled. But he already knows what the topic of conversation is going to be about, anyways.

"Come in."

Does he? One would offer to gamble on the subject but Caspian is fairly certain now it not the time for such casual, if friendly and trivial, endeavors. He enters the room and shuts the door behind him quietly.

"How are you," asks the Telmarine, standing near the Just.

He shakes off the desire to be utterly sarcastic, because Caspian doesn't deserve that, especially not now. Instead, Edmund sighs for a moment, before shutting his network device with a click. It's rather annoying how people seem to be second-guessing them, or stating the obvious, but again, he's just irritated.

"I'm fine." Edmund insists, nodding once to tell Caspian to sit down or something.

He doesn't sit, not yet.

"I wanted to apologize, for the other day," nods the Telmarine who still has some mild coloring where his forehead meets his hairline. Thank the lion he didn't have to cut some of that off. For now it's only the fading shade of a day old wound. Caspian also doesn't dismiss the timing of his untimely insult. To wave the fact that Edmund was once a traitor the day before she arrives? It is a coincidence of course, but it cannot be ignored. He doesn't think so anyway. "And even if you tell me it's all right at least accept it, my apology," he nods."

"It wasn't you. There's no need." but even Edmund understands what it's like to make an apology just for the sake of making an apology- and how important it is to have that apology accepted. So he'll accept the apology, but his face shows that he's not really offendd.

"I'll accept." he says simply, wondering if they should be talking about more important things- such as the witch's arrival into the city, for one.

"Thank you," he bows his head, not quite formal but certainly more than just casually respectful. With that out of the way Caspian glances to the network device despite it being off. "She's already attempting to entertain guests," says the Telmarine, a little more steeled for business.
