Why Yamapi Loves RyoYamapi always makes sure to tell the people who matter to him, that they're important. He tells his mother she's important to him every morning by eating everything she gives him for breakfast, even when he hates it. He tells his sister he loves her by teasing her about the boy she's got a crush on (but he also tells her that she's not allowed to date anyone until she's about twenty five). He tells Jin he loves him every time then meet because they have a special handshake and that's all Jin needs to know they're still best friends. He tells Yuu that Yuu's important because only for Yuu, would he walk around instead of drive because Yuu said he could always donate the petrol money to better causes

I read the first sentence and went "What?!" because that didn't sound like Yamapi at all, but then I kept going and it all started to make sense. I am, in general, not a fan of sappy things, but this is really sweet (and much less depressing than all that unrequited love).
i had a discussion with becky that yamapi calls everyone his best friend and he really believes it because he genuinely likes them all that much, but that he always tells the jweb for fanservicey purposes, as he's not exactly the type of person to say it to the people who really matter.
and yes. sap. apparently i can only do ryo/pi two ways. emo or sap. oh dear :O
Yes, exactly. And I know you know that, which is why I was really confused for a second there. (This is why I have so much trouble writing sappy stuff for a lot of these guys. They're really, really not the type to sweetly confess their love, especially not for each other...)

Why Toma Loves Yamapi
Toma's not one for questioning why. He likes things simple. If they are, they are, and if they aren't, they aren't. Complications waste time. He likes Yamapi. He know he does, Yamapi knows he does and neither of them need explanations why, since they like each other, and that's all they need to know.
(Though, apparently this line of reasoning doesn't work when Kazapon asks why Toma and Yamapi have eaten all the good bits of his lunch and left him all the boring bits because Kazapon would definitely want a better reason than 'it looked really, really good.')
