1. It seems that this horror week of mine is going to continue past my silly birthday, tomorrow as well. I've just gotten myself a cold and will possibly be either in bed, sick, or miserably slinking around my house like a wet dog (only bigger and less drippy). Thanks, God. When I said this week had sucked bad, that was not a cue to suck more.

2. I shall force myself to finish organising the second part of the anon meme, but the very thought of even trying to, right now, is kind of daunting, so forgive me if I ignore the flist another day and do it later.

3. On the brighter side (...there's a brighter side?), I saw kitty_ryan yesterday (and yes, even public transport has it out for me. She lives an hour away, but it took me nearly two to get there) and plied her with JE things and Nobuta until her brain spun.

She said of Nino in the We Can Make It PV, "he'd make a really good butch lesbian," and of Yamapi's train wreck of an outfit in GYM, "oh my god, it's... fantastic. Fantastically awful. Argh."

THAT'S THE PROPER ATTITUDE TO HAVE, Y'ALL. *BEAMS*

4. And this is the short thing I wrote in reply when I coerced begged travelingpsycho to write me the Yamapi/Ryo confrontation about Yamapi/Yasu. because I felt guilty about whining for fic so often

Yamapi’s always grown up with being told that he was good looking. Cute and pretty too, but he ignored those (since he definitely wasn’t either of them). And of course, he’s mostly been too nice to use it on people to get what he wanted. Mostly.

When he spots Yasu milling by the bar and without his band mates around him, it’s easy to slide up next to Yasu and smile at him. It’s easy to pretend to be lonely (and it’s too easy to forget that he doesn’t really have to pretend) and it’s far, far too easy to let Yasu think what he wants to.

After all, Yasu’s too nice to turn him down and that burns, but not enough for him to stop.

Carefully, he doesn’t look at Ryo when he leads Yasu out of the bar.

When they get back to Yasu’s place, Yasu offers Yamapi food and offers to watch television with him; it’s not what Yamapi wants at all, so he grabs him by the neck and pulls him in for a rough kiss.

Yasu’s kind of silly and sweet, and far, far too good to him (he even asks which lube he likes better, and dammit, Yamapi’s not sure whether he’s surprised or not) but Yasu's sure movements are more telling that his smile, and no matter how he looks, he knows exactly what he’s doing.

And when Yasu calls out someone else’s name when he comes, Yamapi doesn’t care. He does the same after all.

And in the morning when they part, it’s with reassuring touches and understanding smiles. He wants to pretend it never happened, wants to pretend he never did it, but he's not that good of a person and he can't.

All he can think is that Ryo's going to kill him.
