(no subject)
I had my last exam today... it went rather well. :) I also got back one of my big presentations, and I got 100% on it.. :)
I went shopping with my 5 best friends after school, and came back at around 5... :) I had to buy a birthday gift for a friend of mine, and I bought a body/bath set at La Senza. I also bought two of these hair extension pieces for $11.50 for myself... they're green! :) Jen, Theresa, Mila and I each bought a different color, and went home to see what the parents would say. :) Jen bought white, and looks a bit like Rogue from X-men. Theresa bought a bright bubble gum pink, and Mila bought a burgandy color. Needless to say, I got odd looks while on the bus and in the mall.. >.< I bet they think I'm some kind of rocker-punk or something.(in fact, I'm the exact opposite) So far, here are the parents' reactions:
jen's mom: says it looks nice. Jen's dad: *grumble grumble..walks away*.. not sure what that means. :p
My mom: "What the.. hey it looks cute! Buy more!" <-- is my mom on drugs? She normally thinks this stuff is silly! My dad: *looks at hair*..."Why?"
lol. I love my dad's reaction.. very funny. So far, jen and I really had to remove the extension clips from our hair to show that it was fake hair, and that we didn't waste 15/16 years of parental hardwork. *heehee* Yes, about my mom's reaction... I'm surprised she liked it. She actually wanted me to get a few more colors... :) heehee. yay! (I think the only reason she likes them so much is that they're not real/permanant...)
Also, on the way to the mall, we stopped by a Wicca shop, and I bought a small Lapis Lazuli, and another stone, (I forgot the name..>.< ) that's supposed to be useful for meditation and concentration. I'm going to fit the latter of the two into a pendant.
I had so much fun today... it was great! Also, while at La Senza, my friends and I were oogling the uber cute pjs... and decided to have a PJ party. :)
