Okay ladies!
Okay, I've never done this sort of thing before (besides selling Band Candy!) *winks at Kira for the Buffy reference* But decided what the hell, might as well actually do some good! Now I'm sure most of you know someone with Diabetes. It runs rampant in my family. My sister's had it since she was 8 (now 37), my aunt since she was 13 (now 59), my dad, grandma, two cousins also have it. It's a wonder me and mom don't as we're both overweight. But I digress.
In a few weeks time (Oct 22) is the Jackson Walk for the Cure thing. I'd signed up to walk but it falls during my Fall Break, so I'll be out of town. So, the least I can do is some fundraising! Ahh, you say, here we are at the jist of the post! Yes. I'm asking for money. And feel a bit weird about it, but it's needed! If I raise $50 I get a shirt and prizes get better the more money you raise. I want to give at least $50! This is where you come in! If each of you give $5 or $10 then I'll be well on my way to doing some good for Mississippi! All the money stays in the state as well.
