The wait is over...
The email arrived about an hour ago. It just wasn't meant to be.
I'm trying very hard to tell myself it's for the best, and something even better will come along.
The last two days have been a roller coaster ride. Goodness, I'm tired...I think I'd be dealing with the let-down a little better if I hadn't been too nervous to eat anything all day besides half a box of Junior Mints (eurgh!) and a can of diet cola. I'll eat tomorrow - going to bed now.
