Random Quote-spam

I came across this quote last night while wandering randomly about online (and felt compelled, for some unfathomable reason, to post it here this morning):

“However mean your life is, meet it and live it; do not shun it and call it hard names. It is not bad…It looks poorest when you are richest. The fault-finder will find faults even in paradise. Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poor-house. The sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its door as early in the spring.”~ Henry David Thoreau

Finally, the first crisp fall day has arrived. I have to find the time and energy to get outside for a while at some point...Perhaps I shall take The Pug for a walk - she's been mosly confined to the house and the back yard in the summer heat, so an outing will be good for her, too. But for now, back to bed for an hour or so...rest while I can...

I promise, at some point I shall really make an effort to make my posts less boring...
