Quiet Here Today….
Today the office is quiet. This doesn’t happen often. In fact, this is the second time it’s happened since I started working here, and I started working here on the 7th of December. I’m caught up on all the emails, phone messages, and paper work. I’m waiting on a few people to get back to me on 4 outstanding things. That’s almost like having nothing to do.
Word has it that we are moving to our new offices next week, which is one door down the hall from where I am now. I’m no complaining though. That office is much nicer than this one. Even though it means that I’ll lose my window in my new spot. I’m okay with that though since there is a huge glass ceiling in the hallway that shines into my new spot and the window I currently sit in front of is very drafty.
The gym continues to go well, though it’s crowded when I get there at night. I got there at 6p last night and that seems to be the rush hour there. Tonight I should beat the crowd by like a half hour since I’ve completed my fliering for the week. Here’s hoping tonight there won’t be a wait for a locker! Then again, I suspect next month all of those who made the New Year’s resolution to lose weight will fall off the bandwagon. It usually only takes a month for them to become discouraged that they didn’t lose 50 lbs in a month. :-/
