Too soon?
Perhaps I should allow a time of mourning. I tend to think of John Paul II as a good Pope. Even one of the best in certain respects - the confrontation with Communism, the Culture of Life, reaching out to Protestants and other religious groups. But the primary thought on my mind today is this: isn't it about time for a non-European Pope?
