(no subject)
hello hello
thought id update, just finished a big paper and my minds gonna explode if i dont think about something else...
hum lets see. well first off, i did start school, online but i think i mentioned that in my last post. oh well. anyways, its going good. im in my sixth week and so far im actually doing well. its hard to find enough time between work and spending time with my daughter, but i am determined. also, pretty soon its going to get even more hectic for me. mom is having a really hard time right now. for the past, id say about fifteen years, shes taken care of her brother. now, hes not totally disabled, but he cant work, has lots of health issues, doesnt drive. so she does lots and lots of things for him, like take him to the doctor, to the store, helps him around his house, that kind of thing. to add to that, she takes care of her mother-doing all that and much more, like helping her bathe, cook and clean, everything. my daughter added more work and shes steadily taken care of all three of them for the past two years. now, she works at night, so she hardly gets any rest, and she stays in town on the days when we work ( we have the same rotation) and she doenst ever get to get home (she lives 50 miles from abilene) unless we are off and thats only of her mother or brother dont need her for something. well she finally reached her breaking point. she is beyond stressed and so physically and mentally exhauseted that i dont know how she managed for this long. ok so now she is finally going to start taking care of herself. shes looking into home health care and shes asked me to find another day care option fo my daughter.
my brother and sister in law and i have come to sort of plan. they have a three month old, and chris is about to go nights, and teresas going mornings. the plan is- get their baby before she goes to work, like at 5 am, so chris can go home and sleep. ill have both the girls until i go to work, then ill drop them off with chris, then teresa will get off work at 2pm and theyll have the girls all day. ill pick up winter when i get off and go home. between the three of us, we dont have overlapping rotations, so one of us will usually be off every day, except fridays when all of us work. i hope that this will work, because i cannot afford day care for one, two its like a nine month long waiting list to get into any here, and three,i really dont have anyone else ot help me. neither do theyill have to do some serious time management to accomplish what i need to do as far as school. supporting words from my friends would help.
