There is only one company in the United States: the United States Congress, Inc. Our representatives are sweeping the floors, the lobbyists are their bosses, and the Board of Directors is every major company and political think tank in America.
The plutocrats tell us we live in a democracy. You and I are drinking the Kool-Aid.
Keep that in mind when you vote this election.
Don't try to figure out whether you should believe this faction over that faction. Or which conspiracy theory is correct. Whether this ideology fits your personal style more than that ideology. There is an alternative. There is action.
Are you brave enough to question the conventional wisdom? Or are you going to commit mass agreeable suicide like the rest of us?
What have you done today? Have you contributed, even in a small way, to dissent? Sometimes dissent is merely disbelieving the unreasonableness and factless-ness of today's internet-fueled, company-branded, five-hundred channels of misinformation overload. They may win the day, but they didn't do it with your consent or by taking you as a fool.
It's about having courage to find the truth.
Your vote is a voice in the darkness. But, remember that it's a marginalized one. A lobbyist's whisper in a representative's ear is louder than your screaming and thrashing from one-thousand miles away.
Apathy is not the solution; apathy is the problem.
