A little gem that I stumbled upon while tooling around the internet...
This is really great back-and-forth and unscripted political conversation between Obama and Republican members of Congress. It was televised on C-SPAN, where Republicans invited Obama to a retreat/conference so that they had an opportunity to talk with him about his administration and the state of affairs in Congress.
It is truly a fantastic glimpse into the Republican party and the Obama administration. It covers everything from taxes, health care, the economy, energy policy, and other things. It's a long grid (approx. 60+ minutes) so cook some popcorn and sit back, but it is definitely worth it! It is not necessarily a lambasting of Republicans or Democrats, but is truly insightful. Watch all of it, or you won't get the full experience.
It brings a new respect for the man as a policy-maker, and shows how NOT LIKE the representation he is that the 24-hour news cycle paints of him.
