I use to not be into politics...couldn't hold a conversation to save my life on why one candidate was better then the other or even why I should vote. That was a few years back. These days, I actually read the paper trying to track what is going on.
While I don't agree with more then a few of Obama's policies, I find myself preferring him to Romney on any given debate. I do not like some one who has sold his soul to garner votes. He lies, he cheats and isn't willing to have any morals just to win. He would cut help desperately needed by the poor, deny women basic health care as well as choices on abortion, and he has NO idea what to do outside a board room when it comes to being a diplomat. I am sure he would continue illegal surveillance on Americans (started by Bush and continued by Obama), not close Guantanamo and probably get us into a third war based on the hawks in his cabinet. This man has already sold his soul for a candidacy in which better realism and co-operation was needed.
Ann Romney...no different then her husband. She is as much a liar as he. She is not a house wife. She runs his house hold with cooks, maids, chauffeurs and nannies. Real housewives do not get to jet across country choosing which house to be in for which party while every one else raises her children, then acts like every one is crazy for holding her life style to the light. She's hollow. She has no actual personality other then what compliments Mitt's and keeps her in insurance for her own issues.
Neither one of them can relate to those who make less then a few million a year. They do not understand why their lies are being called, nor why people think that wearing $1000 shirts are excessive when going out in the public eye.
If they get into the White house, things will become infinitely harder on millions. People who can not empathize or have stated they don't care about the poor should not be running for top offices where empathy for both the poor and the desperate is as much a priority as rubbing elbows with the nobility with out offending them is.
Just my two cents worth.
