speculation on house S7 finale
okay, so: originally i thought this was how they were getting rid of masters: short story - danny was staring obsessively at masters at the end of their last discussion, read below and then KEEP READING afterwards.....
i just noticed masters and danny's last interaction again, watching the end of "fall from grace". all of the sudden, it hit me. i'm sure i'm not the first to say this, but this particular interaction sent a cold shiver down my spine.
danny: thank you. for not giving up on me.
masters: you're not a bad person...you can go talk to a professional.
danny: ...you know, i think god really does have a plan for me. and all this was just His way of testing my resolve. (stares at masters intently) and i wouldn't have passed it without you.
masters: see you tomorrow, danny.
(masters walks out - danny staring at her intently the entire time as she is walking away; he then says abruptly)
danny: that's not my real name.
masters: it doesn't matter. (masters turns and leaves)
danny continues to stare at her, then smiles. he looks up at the ceiling and starts thinking, still smiling.
he's going to stalk her - and kill her, and eat her. with a side of fava beans and a nice chianti.
OKAY, DONE WITH THAT????? THAT IS **NOT** THE FINALE - THAT WAS WHAT SPARKED IT.
NOW:
danny is stalking masters. he sees masters and cuddy together. he decides he'd rather have cuddy. he stalks cuddy - and traps her in her house for the weekend.
julia tries to get her over the weekend, and can't reach her. she gets worried, and finally drives over. she sees cuddy's car. she knocks, no answer. julia walks around the house, and notices that things don't look right (newspapers for a few days, mail in the box, etc.)
she gets worried, looks in the windows. she then calls house in case they're back together, who say they aren't. as they're on the phone, danny grabs the phone from julia; house hears the struggle. house realizes there's something really wrong; calls police, gets in car, drives over there.
from there....okay, i fall down here. i am not sure how it would play out. but it explains the police, why there would be an ambulance (depending on what danny did or does), why julia is there, why cuddy's house would be "trashed" or why she'd have to leave it (who would go back home after that?), why she might have to go to the hospital, why house might end up in an accident rushing over, why the team might be there, why a psychiatrist might be there...all of that.
