Yesterday I got my iPod shuffle. It's really small, I realized it when I opened the packaging. Using it is really simple and the buttons handle quite nice. The maximum volume level is high enough to fit my taste, the sound quality seems to be O.K. using the Apple earphones.
What is really annoying though is the transfer speed using USB 1.1. This is not the iPod shuffle's fault, but my old iMac doesn't have USB 2.0 ports. Swapping the entire 512MB of songs all the time as suggested by Apple (random fill feature in iTunes, commercials) is impossible using USB 1.1.
Another reason to buy a new G5 finally. =)
For another couple of weeks I'm gonna feel special wearing the shuffle around my neck, guess I am among the first ones in Zurich.
