Sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything...Things have been weird and bad lately. But it's just about to turn around.
I'm leaving for Asia on the 15th, and now I'm freaking out because I forgot to get new pages for my passport. Crap! because I need a whole page for the Cambodian visa, and I have one, but it's back in the amendments section, and they get a little weird about that in Asia (they are sticklers for detail.) If you mail it in there's a 6-week turn around, so I'm going to try going down to the passport office Friday. Here's what sucks...Even if you pay for "expedited" proccessing, they still make you wait 2 weeks...I think I'm screwed, unless they help me downtown (which they have in the past.) Fingers crossed...
I did 3 of my Mission Dispatch assignments today. Another shot of Tom Ammiano--wow, that guy is a go-getter, he is everywhere! So there was a demonstration down at Cesar Chavez and Mission, then a super-exciting photo of a parking lot, and an updated shot of the mini-park on 24th...that place is going to be so cool! Then worked 8 hours at the airport, then came home, here I am.
I'm working the Vegetarian Festival this weekend, Saturday shooting photos, and Sunday morning working the VegNews booth. Then after that....drum roll please...Comedy Day in the Park!!! And Saturday night there will be a big dinner at the Festival and Joe said he would treat all of us who worked the booth. Free food? Okee-doke. Plus, I really like those guys, they are so fun to hang out with.
