Little victories

I got another front page on the Mission Dispatch this month, yay. It's not the most exciting photo on earth:

It was difficult to get though. There was a chain link fence in front of the entire area, so I had to climb on a rickety pile of broken construction materials, and I still couldn't see over the fence, so I had to just stick the camera in the air over my head and aim at the general area. Hooray for digital cameras, I could make sure I got the shot before I left.

I had to do some more climbing yesterday. He wanted a shot of an old sugar warehouse down by the bay (it took me forever to find it) and it was fenced off and locked. So I had to walk around to some trucking loading docks and ask if I could climb on the crates they had piled by the fence. I was a little nervous because it's across the street from a power plant, and the last time I tried to get photos of a power plant, I got yelled at by the security guards and "escorted" out of the area by the police. Cops are bad (m'kay) because I still don't have my motorcycle liscense.

I'm not in the mood to work today so I'm lollygagging.
