Stephane retires first, prompting thousands of fans to bawl and cry everywhere. Then the furor over him dies down, as it did when Alexei Yagudin and Jeff Buttle retired.

But when Johnny Weir retires, public interest in Stephane was ignited again. To be exact, public interest in Stephane Lambiel and Johnny Weir. As in, together . Like, together together.

It happens at the very press conference Johnny announces his retirement. The moment he says he is retiring, there is a silence that settles. Even the reporters are silent for a few long seconds because hey, they were losing Johnny freaking Weir, who is like the most reportable figure skater ever because he's flamboyant and unapologetic of his own behavior.

Then one reporter asks, "So, what are your plans for the future?"

Johnny talks about his show, his book, fashion, but somewhere in the middle Stephane Lambiel appears and is escorted to the stage by security. Several cameras go off, the reporters are whispering to each other, but Stephane ignores all of this and walks straight up the stairs of the stage to Johnny.

Johnny rises out of his seat to greet Stephane, but what happens next comes as a shock to everyone, even Johnny. It makes zebraswan fans across the world have a collective fangasm the moment a video of the incident hits the web. And they do have a good reason for fangasming -- zebraswan is canon now.

Stephane grabs Johnny's shoulders, pulling him up, and leans down to press his lips against Johnny's.

Cameras go off.

In a press conference held to discuss Johnny Weir's retirement on (insert date), reporters and guests alike were shocked when Stephane Lambiel appeared on stage and pulled Weir up for a heated kiss.

Weir appeared to struggle at first, but seemed to give up thirty-seconds in and began to kiss back. After two more minutes, Weir and Lambiel separated and were met with a flurry of questions from reporters.

"No comment," Lambiel answered when asked what the kiss was all about. Just as quickly as he appeared, he left the stage. Questions then went to Johnny, was unable to form a coherent answer to any of them.

The conference was then called off, citing "technical difficulties" and scheduled to be reheld in the middle of next month.

Neither Johnny Weir nor Stephane Lambiel have given statements regarding their lip-lock during the conference.

OMG omg guys, I was totally at the conference today! Johnny Weir is retiring, it's so sad! But here's some gold at the end of the rainbow -- Stephane Lambiel came and kissed Johnny Weir!!!

SQUEE! THIS IS SO FREAKING AWESOME! There was tongue involved -- I saw! Stephane was all like "rawr!" and he held Johnny until Johnny gave in to that Swiss goodness and started kissing back. I just about died!

But then Stephane let go (awww) and left as quickly as he came. Johnny turned all red and was blushing and stuttering when the reporters asked him more questions. >w< It was so cute!

OMG keep your eyes on the tweets and news and SOMEONE PLEASE UPDATE ME what happens between those two because I'm going to China and prob won't have internet access.
