“Of course I do. We’ve been together for 5 years JR, if you don’t love me by now you never will”
“The thing is… This is an intervention Apolo”
“Intervention? Why?”
“Because you’re so desperate to go back to the Olympics you decided to start curling. Apolo, you suck at curling”
Apolo looks up at JR with doe eyes, his curling broom in one hand and a curling stone in the other.
“No I don’t”
“Apolo. You do”
“But I really like curling”
“I know, you where about to take the equipment with you to bed”
“I can’t?”
“No. You’re obsessed Apolo. But if you stop right now, you can do whatever you want to me for the next week”
Apolo’s eyebrows shoot up and that and he puts both stone and broom down at once. The feral grin that comes over his face is enough to make JR kind of scared.

The next day Apolo turns in all of his curling equipment. And for every night the next week he reminds JR why he never lets Apolo do whatever he wants to him. At least he’s on vacation from skating, cause there’s no way he can walk. For at least a month.
