Just to address a few issues.
I have not abandoned this meme. Some of you seem to think this since catty comments haven't gotten deleted. I am only one person, but I do check this thing multiple times a day. I don't always see things that should be deleted. This is why I set up the email and the messengers so you guys can report things to me. Please use the system if you notice anything that is out of line. I see the email and messengers before I see any messages sent via LiveJournal, so please make a note of that. I may not always get to it immediately as I do work full time, but I will take care of it as soon as time allows.
Another issue is the suggestion that I put a hold on skating related prompts to give other sports the attention. That's not what this meme is for. It is a collective of all winter sports. Telling the figure skating or speed skating authors they can't post or fill prompts will not get other fic written. Anyone posting a prompt runs the risk of having it not be filled. It's just the way these things work.
