Merry Christmas to my friends who are celebrating and to those who aren't, Happy Holidays!
December has always been my favourite time of the the year; because
- it is my birthday month - i get to catch up with the lovely people in my life
- the chilly cold and unpredictable weather where I can wear all my jackets and coats comfortably without inviting unwanted stares
- sales sales and more sales
- a short getaway or holiday with my family - it is very rare to get the six of us spending quality time together nowadays
December this year did not disappoint. I got to meet and catch up with most of my friends even though I have started interning at a new office. The environment is better, the people are genuinely nice and sincere - I have been eating cakes every week ever since I started because someone's birthday falls every week, Christmas log cakes and goodies from people who came back from their holidays. And every single day for the past week I couldn't help smiling every morning when I see my desk; there's always a present or two from my colleagues. Aww.
Well, I hope all of you are enjoying the long break and merry time with your loved ones. I'm gonna start on my annual Christmas tradition: watching Love Actually.
