(no subject)

Um...I had something to say and I forgot what it was.
I'm writing my personal statement for my IB application. It's a general sum up of my personality and interests and shtuff. Tell me what you think. It's supossed to be like 70 words shorter, but oh well. (It's supossed to be 250 words, but I think that's just like impossible)
For anyone who cares:
One wonders how to start an essay describing themselves. Well, concerning the subject matter, the best way to start, I believe, would be with my name. I am Ruthie Reinken. My friends would describe me as down-to-earth, good-natured, blunt, charismatic, laid back, empathetic, sensible, optimistic, and a little quirky. I've lived in 3 different states, 4 different cities, and I've moved 5 times in total. Being forced into new situations, being forced to cope and deal with whatever I've been given is probably the greatest contributor to my personality. I take life as it comes and don't stress easily. A lot of people call me peculiar and unique, and I happen to agree with them. But when I asked "Why am I so unique?" someone said "Because of that question you just asked." I think out of the box and tend to be creative in all fields - art, writing, problem solving, and in real life; That is what makes me unique, I think. I offer unusual answers to average questions.
I tend to be a jack-of-all-trades. I'm good at a lot of things, but I'm often not the best. I know a lot of things, but I might not be able to write a book on them. I do four sports: cross country, soccer, track, and horseback riding. I play for fun, for something to do, for an outlet, and to stay in shape, not particularly because I want to be some star in any of the above. I'm an avid reader and occasionally a writer, and sometimes a book nerd. I'm artistic - I was in Ceramics last year and Drawing & Painting this year and tend to be talented in both areas. I'm a photographer, interested in film making, I keep up a scrapbook, make jewelry and enjoy a wide range of crafts. I'm a general lover of life and everything around me.
