i was going to take the high road on this, i really was.
it's a good thing i don't give a fuck. just like some people i know.
so this is the story. yet *more* drama on neopets. annie and i invited a girl to join our guild. she said no, she didn't play anymore. so that was fine. then we got word she ended up joining a different guild. the guild that's TOTALLY FUCKING OBSESSED WITH OURS. yeah they know who they are. now, i may be a little slow, but i'm not quite understanding why, all of a sudden, they are so interested in this girl. i mean, christ. they voted on her before and at least one of the girls claimed to "hate" her... so she was put back on the shelf. now... we ask her to join our guild and magically, the vote is reopened and she's accepted. well well well. i wasn't all that upset with her decision to not join us initially, because by her account, she was tired of neopets. well, i'm sorry to hear that hon, but you do what you need to do. but now in the space of a month, she's still not back to playing regularly, but she's managed to swallow her distaste for our little online game enough to join the other guild. i love that. i think it's awesome to give off the impression you're a respectable player when really, you pretend until something better comes along.
i wish her nothing but luck being in a guild that fully rejected her the first time, but seeing that we were interested, decided to stick it to us by "stealing" her away. makes me laugh. but in a sad, sad way.
