Very complex story so much is going on between the characters especially whats left unsaid; unsurprisingly Clara seemingly is the one that knows whats going on from the start and is justifiably content with what happens.

This is sharp-edged and excellent. I really enjoyed your use of Clara as an outsider POV on the Doctor and Jack's long, rocky, deep relationship. Your Twelve voice is great.

You have really good Twelve characterization here. I have no doubt this is how his interactions with Jack would go down.

"Well, why not?" the Doctor huffed. "He's a good kisser, no point in wasting it."

Somehow this line really stood out as pure Twelve!
