It's a season of extremes. Some of us are sweltering under heat and humidity; some of us are huddling under blankets and wishing for warmer climes. And since the only way out of all this weather is to get through it, we figured we'd embrace it for this month's challenge: hot or cold.
Consider jack and the Doctor, after all: from arguing over the banana groves of Villengard to parting with a kiss on the lips; from clinging to the TARDIS to cautious, uncomfortable conversations to drawing Davros's fire. They run the gamut, and they confuse each other, and that combination of extremes just makes their dynamic all the more interesting.
So this month, your challenge is to play with the contrast of hot and cold: heating blankets and ice cubes, arguments and apologies, or even just a massive malfunction with the TARDIS's climate control.... Make 'em hot, make 'em cold, make 'em sweat, make 'em freeze - just make 'em everything we love about the Doctor and Jack. :D
As a gentle reminder, please don't crosspost stories for this challenge elsewhere until the challenge closes about one month from now. And don't forget - leave a comment in THIS post and tell us what you think the next challenge should be!
