A/N : An epic fail but had to get it out tonight or I have to kill myself. *_*
I looked out the window, observing the patterns that the clouds formed. I saw a monkey shaped cloud, which is quite cute. I wonder if someone else would notice that particular cloud like me.
“Donghae-ah, could you help me?” Sungmin hyung said, sitting down on my bed. Where did he come from?
“Yeah sure hyung. What is it?” I’m sure he’s going to ask me to return the book he borrowed from the library. And bingo~
“Could you please help me return this book? My friend’s coming in a few minutes so I can’t go out, please?” The puppy eyes, again. I don’t have anything to do anyway, might as well go out and get some fresh air.
“Sure hyung. I’m going out anyway.” His eyes immediately lit up. I smiled at that.
“Thank you Donghae! To repay you, I’ll make dinner tonight! Here’s the book. Thanks again!” He skipped out of my room, much like how a bunny would do.
I turned back towards the window; clouds were nowhere to be seen anymore, only the clear blue sky remains.
I arrived at the library after a good 15 minutes of walking from our house. The library’s the oldest and the only library available in town. Students, like me and my brother like to study here. We both knew the librarians here, since we’ve been going here a lot.
“Ah Donghae, helping your brother again?” A woman came up to me right after I entered.
“Unfortunately, yes Mrs. Kim.” I smiled at her. She’s the 1st librarian who worked here and has been working for a decade already.
“Well let me have that book. Go borrow some books if you’d like, we’ve added a few more shelves of books.”
“Thank you Mrs. Kim. I’ll go check it out now!” I grinned and walked down the main aisle.
I love it here, it’s like I’ve stepped into another world. I could be stuck in the past, be an astronaut and everything else just in one day. Most of all, I don’t have to face reality for awhile, that fact that I’m loner, having no friends wasn’t something to be proud of. Having a popular brother doesn’t make it any better like it was suppose to, but he’s a good enough company.
As I was walking down the aisles of history department, I can’t help but noticed boy in the far corner, legs propped up to his chest, surrounded by books. He’s clearly in another world, seeing how his eyes stay glued to the book, not even blinking.
That exact moment, I know I’ve found someone that will have a big impact on me, or preferably my crush. Ever since that fateful day, I’ve been to the library ever so often. This would be the 3rd week I’ve been observing (stalking) that boy. He was in the same state as the 1st time I’ve met him, books all over the place, concentration never faltering.
I don’t know for how long I’ve been staring at him but suddenly he turned towards my direction. I turned away and tried to escape somehow. It was almost successful, that is until I tripped on my own feet. Great Lee Donghae, just plain great. I hope he didn’t see this embarrassing scene but God wouldn’t let me pass this time.
“I think you might need some help.” That soothing voice, it was amazing. He pulled me up and I came face to face with an angel.
His perfect porcelain skin, dazzling doe eyes, burning red hair, plump lips, gummy smile; it was breathtaking, simply breathtaking. I don’t know what came over me but this is the 1st thing that came into my mind.
“I wanna know you.”
“E-excuse me?”
“I wanna know you.” I reached out and took his hand into mine before dragging him out with me, making a stop at the nearby café. That’s how we started, from strangers to friends and next thing you know, lovers. It was an amazing memory, out 1st meeting.
“What are you thinking about Hae?”
“Nothing Hyuk, nothing.”
“Aww…tell me!” Puppy eyes, always work on me.
“Hmm…..I just wanna know you.” You smile, and snaked your arms around my neck.
“Well you can start now if you want. Ask me anything…” A kiss, and another busy night.
