Summary : Hyukjae lost his memories due to an accident before and he moved back to his old house where his past memories were kept. Can this place make Hyukjae remember his lost memories and lost love?
It was a few days after Hyukjae got the flashback, which he didn’t even know existed in the 1st place. So he shrugged it off, continuing his life like he always did.
Hyukjae’s POV
My 1st day in GeoDam High, nerve wrecking but I have to stay calm. I stepped into the school main hallway, just to be run down by a boy. We both fell down to the dirty floor, him atop me.
“I’m so sorry, are you okay? I didn’t mean to, I’m sorry!” That guy stood up immediately before extending his hand to help me get up, which I took gratefully.
“I’m okay, thanks. Don’t worry about it.” I assured him by giving him a smile.
“Oh okay then, that’s good. Are you the new student?”
“Ah yes, I guess it’s quite obvious huh?”
“Haha quite! Anyway would you like me to show you to the office? I’m sure you’re heading that way, plus you’ll be lost if you’re on your own here. This school’s pretty big.” He chuckled.
I nodded, agreeing on every word that he had said. It is quite big here, I wonder how many classroom they’ll have?
“Shall we, umm…?”
“Hyukjae, Lee Hyukjae. What’s your name?”
“Nice meeting you Hyukjae. I’m Siwon.”
I supposed I made a new friend already huh?
After getting my schedules from the office, Siwon took me to my homeroom class. Fortunately, we have the same class. It was quite a relieve since I’m new here and Siwon looked like a trustable person.
“I want you to meet my friends, I’m sure you’ll like them. At least I hope so.” Siwon whispered the last part but I heard it clearly. If he’s this nice, I think his friends would be the same!
“Wonnie, you’re back! Wait, who’s this?” A guy with very feminine features asked, coming up to us.
“Heechul-ah, this is the new student, Hyukjae. Hyukjae, meet Heechul.”
“It’s nice meeting you Heechul-sshi.” I smiled nervously while trying to shake his hand but I was pulled into a hug instead.
“I’m already liking you, I’m sure we’ll be best friends!!” He squealed before releasing me. “Let’s meet the others! Come on!” He pulled me towards the back of the class, where a few students are present.
“Guys, yah yeorobun! Yah!!” Heechul tried to catch their attentions, which are quite pointless since there’re so many of them talking at the same time. These are my future friends?
“If you guys won’t listen to me, I’ll have to use my secret weapon~” He said in a sing-song voice, then everyone turned their attentions to him. I wonder what the secret weapon is…..
“Good! Now, we have a new member to our group. Hyukjae here is new, so be nice!” Group? New member? Me?!
“Hey Hyukjae, I’m Ryeowook. Welcome to GeoDam High and our group.” A very cute guy came up to me. He reminded me so much of Sungmin somehow.
After Ryeowook’s introduction, others came up to me and did the same thing.
There’s so many of them, I don’t think I could remember all their names.
“Don’t worry; I can’t remember any of their names when I met them too.” Siwon whispered. I nodded my head while smiling. He’s a very surprising guy.
The teacher came in a few moments after; I was told to introduce myself and was seated beside Ryeowook. Time flew by so fast that it’s already lunch break. Siwon said we’ll be eating on the rooftop. I’m certainly not too fond of going there since I’m kind of afraid of high places, but I don’t think it’d be that bad. Both of us went to the cafeteria to buy things for them while they went to said place.
“Hyukjae, come on. I already bought us some food and beverages. Wouldn’t want
Heechul to wait too long, he’s impatient.” Siwon winced a bit.
“Let me help you with that Siwon-sshi!”
“Hey just call me Siwon, no need to be formal.” He winked before handing me some of the foods. I blushed before taking them. He is good looking…..
We were walking up the stairwell to the rooftop when suddenly my head hurts. I clutched it, thinking that it would ease away the pain but it was the other way around. The pain increased by the seconds and I don’t think I could take it anymore. So I just let it go, falling into eternal darkness. The last thing that was flashed before me was, a house.
My house…..
Donghae’s POV
Finally, Busan. Hyukjae-ah, I’m came back, with our memories.
“Donghae? Yo Lee Donghae!” Kibum waved his hand before stopping, knowing that I had snapped out of my trance.
“Help me please. Those luggages aren’t going to carry themselves you know.”
“Sorry, here let me get that. Anyway where are we staying Kibum?”
“My cousin’s house, duh~ he’s the same age as us but he lives alone. Aunt HyeJin bought the house for him last year. Plus he’s a very hygienic person, so don’t worry about anything related to the word disastrous.” He chuckled.
“I suppose he’s still in school now, its a few hours till he gets back so we should get lunch 1st. What do you want to eat?”
“Sure! Anything’s fine. C’mon Kibum, my stomach’s already grumbling!”
We went to one of the restaurants in the airport. When we’re done, it was almost 2 pm so we decided we should go since Kibum’s cousin would probably be back from school right now.
“I already called up a cab; it should be here by now. I can’t wait to see my cousin again; we haven’t met for so long.” Kibum said, eyes shining with happiness.
“Yeah…..I can’t wait to see my Eunhyuk too, and bring back the memories to him.”
“Hey Donghae, don’t worry okay? I’m sure he’ll remember everything when he sees you.” He gave a comforting hug before we both head to the main entrance.
“Thanks Kibum.”
“Hey what are friends for dummy?” He flicked my forehead.
“That’s hurts and FYI, friends are forever!” I stuck my tongue out.
“Got that right!”
After a few minutes, we arrived at the house. It was definitely big, well at least bigger than mine in Canada. Kibum rang the doorbell and took a step back.
“Yes how may I- Kibum?!” A very tall young man stepped out and hugged Kibum.
“Yes it is Siwon~ how have you been?” They started a conversation, ignoring me. I was starting to get a tad bit irritated. I think Kibum sensed my dark aura when he suddenly turned towards me.
“Oh by the way Siwon, meet my friend, Donghae. Donghae, Siwon, my cousin.”
“It’s a pleasure to meet you Donghae-sshi, I’m Choi Siwon. Please come on in!”
“Thanks and likewise.” The three of us sat on the white leather sofa in the living room. It’s spacious and not to mention, very clean; rare sight for a boy living alone.
“I though you were coming here a bit later, but I guess Donghae-sshi was eager huh?”
I sent Kibum a look, which meant what-the-hell; he caught it right away.
“He’s the cousin I told you about before. I though you would already realized it by now.”
“Oh....okay then. Thanks for the information before then Siwon-sshi.”
“No problem, and please dropped the formality! We’re both the same age.” He smiled, doing some sort of hand gestures.
“Anyway we’ll be staying here for now Donghae-ah. We’ll be going to the same school as Siwon’s too.”
“You can meet my friends there. They’re all very excited when I mentioned about you guys today.”
We chatted till it was already night time. Time sure flies fast.
“You two should turn in for tonight. The uniforms are already in your closets. Goodnight.” Siwon hugged me and Kibum before going up to his room. That guy sure likes hugging.
“Well night Donghae. Take some rest; we’ll meet your Hyukjae soon.” Kibum laughed upon seeing me blushing.
Siwon was listening to his Ipod on his bed, thinking about a certain boy.
“I’m sorry Donghae, but I think I might need to steal your Hyukjae away; since he already stole my heart. And I’ll do whatever it takes to make his past, the past.”
