Thoughts and upcoming summer for Winter
It's been some time since my last update, I know <.<; And I don't really think I've been the most supportive one either when it comes to other people's LJ entries. So I apologise to you all!
This week was one of great relieve. Both my grandparents went into hospital for a scheduled operation. My grandmother got herself a fancy new pair of hips this monday, and all seems to be fine! My grandfather however was in for a more nastier operation. He needed a new heart valve, which was done yesterday in a 3,5 hour operation. It's a biological one, that of some animal, so I hope that goes well. Ultimately, the operation ran fine! No difficulties whatsoever.
Both were needed, especially for my grandfather. It was a risky operation none of the less, but if we didn't do anything about his heart, he wouldn't make it this year.
In other news... oh God, there's just so much I could talk about o_O.
I want to keep it short with just one other thing that's been on my mind since... last.. monday? Or two weeks ago, I can't remember. Point is: I want to visit America. Period. Travelling really got onto me since those visits to the UK by plane, meeting online people, and heck I want to meet more!
I already know who I plan on visiting, already talked about it, though it's still speculation stuff. *Grunts* Prices really seem to go shooting up in high season. Low season can be payable, but high season.. nasty buggers. Why don't you let me fly for free, I'm Winter you know. =|
Oh well. I think like this because I'm not wanting to spend another summer in the hot sun having nothing on my mind, except for some random summer job. I want a summer to remember!
Ofcourse, alternatively, I can keep my fingers crossed and hope to find that special someone to spend summer with... But I know that I shouldn't be putting too much hope into that, really. Though it would be a real money saver!
Trip to the USA? Plausible! But I might be in need for financial support, oh deary me. No, no no.. I'm not gonna moan about money! Mm mm!
So let's just put this journal to an end, shall we? =P
