So last week I went back to the United Kingdom to go and see riax3x again. What a blast!
We went for the cinema and had a few drinks in Norwich itself, aswell as lunch, before we went dragon shopping again. There was this really awesome dragon statue that I'd wanted to buy, but it was one that held a sword, and knowing airport security that might've been a rather big issue.. Such a shame!
At her place we've been watching some horror movies along with House, exchanged some music and films and had dinner together. She also gave me an early birthday gift (I'll be turning 22 on 17th November) which quite surprised me! I was told not to open it untill the actual day, but it only lasted for a day XD For *cough* "safety reasons".. I convinced her I should open it in case it'll be checked at the airport.. Yes. Yes, that's true, yes. But it didn't happen during check-in =B
What I found was a dragon statue of awesomeness! A small one that'll hold my pens and pencils together. It really fits on my desk and am quite happy with it! The card that goes along with the gift is still sealed and won't be opened untill the actual day. *nods*
On the final day I once again almost had to miss my flight due British ways of taking care of dutch Winter, for a lack of better words. Luckily however, I had 15 minutes left on the clock before check-in closed, so I was quite relieved to find I was still in time. Atleast this time I didn't have to wait for over five hours for the next flight..
Either way, the trip was an absolute success and I'm glad having my mind off things again that goes around here. Such a wonderful feeling..
Thank you Ria for allowing me to walk around your house again and (almost) break/ruin some stuff!
