oh my
three weeks since i updated! oops! rest assured you'll be hearing a lot more from me from now on cos...... UNI IS FINISHED! forever! handed the last of my assignments in yesterday then spent the afternoon getting hammered. i don't know how i managed to finish everything and get it in on time but i did. so many people have got extensions and resits. i just don't know how they can keep putting things off!
anywho, party started about 1pm and i got in bout 10.30pm so i had a good nine hours of drinking time. mostly white wine hence the ridiculous hangover today and the shuffling around rather than walking. my mum will be here soon to help us finish packing and clean the flat. might get her to cook me a fry up....
and also, i got into the journalism course!! found out at the uni party yesterday and my tutor made a big speech about me. it was embarassing but super cool. i also found out that everyone read my reviews in the paper. i even had an argument with one guy who said his friend was really pissed off with a review i'd done of Four Tet. ha! i gave him my email address so his mate can get in touch and argue with me! it's wicked! people actually read what i write!
apparently my new tutor is sending a book list out which i'm looking forward to and i have to get on with my teeline again. i figure if i can teach myself over summer it'll be one less thing to deal with at college. i can just do the exam for it and it's out of the way. oh, i got 70% in the entry exam by the way! :D i'm muchly pleased cos there were three sections - two about news stories and one about general knowledge (who is president of country X, what does this company do etc) and i know i can't have got more than five right on that so almost all my marks came from the sub-editing section (which i've never done properly - just picked it up myself) and the news writing and follw up ideas. which means i might actually be a pretty good journalist! wooooooo. now time to start making money from it....
today, i am going to have a bath and try and feel a little more human, then pack, and clean, then sleep, the PARTY! if anyone is in Cambridge tonight come along to Cherry Hinton Hall and join in! we're thinking booze and barbeque.
