(no subject)
Wow .. long time no post again!
I am officially 'over' Rich. Kinda. Started seeing someone else ... John ... 3.5 weeks ago .. shock horror!
Wasn't looking for anyone, was out with some friends from work and he was there too - known one of my close friends since they were at school! So .. he's got a good character reference ;)
It's weird, we're taking it slowly, only seeing each other a couple of times a week, doing things like cooking for each other, going shopping together, going out for meals, it's all really sweet! AND he's hot ;) Blonde though .. which is a massive change for me .. I do not DO blondes! (normally!) anyway .. am definately holding back a bit, don't wanna get hurt again, it's been so crappy since I broke up with Hish in November, it's time for me to take a step back and make sure I dont fall for John too quickly and let myself get hurt (again)! So, it's all good! He came round last night (he just lives 5 mins drive from me!) and I cooked him dinner, we curled up together on the sofa watching crappy TV, then he went home! All very innocent and sweet! Ok .. starting to sound loved up here! Ok .. I am! but not going to show him that !
Anyway .. I'm the happiest girl today .. life is good, the sun's out and it's actually 20 degrees (in Manchester!!!!!) I've got a lovely man in my life, good friends, and I've got the honour of becoming Godmother to the baby of one of my oldest and closest friends in the world .. !
