What have you been up to? Major life changes? Same old same old?
Moved halfway across the US to start a PhD program in Communication/media studies in New England. That's right, I'm now a professional fangirl.
What fandom are you in/do you spend most of your time in?
It's been so much SPN lately. The 221B bullshit and the long wait between news has me a bit burnt out on Sherlock, which I'm hoping is a temporary state. We'll see what the Christmas Special does.
Where do you hang out online?
Lately? Nowhere (see answer to question #1) but a bit on Tumblr and the antidiogenes chat room when I have time.
What are you reading?
a LOT of communication theory, audience research, qualitative data analysis... and Destiel fic.
What are you watching?
See answer to #1. I haven't watched anything that hasn't been for research in weeks.
What are you making?
Poor life choices, mostly. I have a bunch of WIPs I'm hoping to find time for, and of course loads of coursework and some conference papers and abstracts.
What are you squeeing about today?
Generally? Very excited to be living closer to lareinenoire and reluctantabandon.
If you could rope old fandom friends into a new fandom, it would be...

The Hydra Trash Party. I mean, if Captain American and/or non-con is at all your thing, it's a treasure trove. A manageable place to start might be this rec list.
