Thinking of cutting most of my hair off.  Because boredom.  Also increasingly warm weather.

I've had it long most of my life, primarily due to being too lazy to get it cut regularly.

Think it's time for a change.  Something short.  Quite short.

(I did, actually, take into account how a haircut would affect any cosplay I was planning to do, because of course I did...)

How short? I'm thinking about cutting my hair too...I must admit that i am also thinking about cosplay hehe. I keep thinking, "So if I get married in Autumn...it'll be after summer when there are cons...would i able to grow it out enough for wedding?" LOL.

Short enough for Mayuri. =) Shortest layers nose length, longest layers barely above my shoulders? I want to do a trial run... to see if I need to grow/cut more for the real deal.

Hair growth is about 0.5 inches per month (obviously this varies person to person). Things can help preserve length includes trimming every so often (to prevent breaking from split/damaged ends). It really depends on how long you want your hair to be for the wedding. (Also, if you're thinking about the group cosplay - Ruka's hair is deceptively short. S/he has wavy hair, and to create that wave, it'll take length.)
