even though it's quite still here...

Have a million pictures. I'll forget if I don't just post all of them now. Sorry?

This was drawn in a grouping of doodles I did for ASP and the Beatles' "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away." This was the only one that turned out well.

From left to right: chapters 2, 11, 8, and 7. God, Brinker is creepypants.

For ASP graphic novel practice mostly. Otherwise for an expressions meme on dA. As my girlfriend titles it: 25 Finnys

From left to right: chapters 3, 11, the short story "Phineas", and ASP chapter 3.
The excerpt from the third picture is from when the two first met in the original short story:
I had seen him around the school the previous winter and gotten the impression that he was bigger than I was. But when he straightened up, our eyes met at dead level. For a second I thought he was going to say, "I'll bet my old man could lick your old man." Then his mouth broke into a grin, and he said, "Where did you get that dizzy shirt?"

Leaning on each other. I'm sure everyone remembers how annoying Finny is =)

You know they would have. And don't ask me how Finny's top half connects to his legs. I'm still not sure.

During some of Gene's early morning training, Gene and Finny take a moment to admire the country. And let their boogers freeze.

Pretty excellent part in chapter 9 where the title of the book is established. And hey, Gene's drunk and wearing a girly crown Finny made. Perfect.

(rant is copypasta from dA) I remember this part in the '72 movie being significantly more hilarious than in the book. Brinker's and Gene's heads shot up and had the same expression EXACTLY. As if they were cats looking up to the sound of a dog barking. In the book, it was just kinda sad. Made you want to punch either Gene or Finny, but the problem was you never knew who to be angrier with. And no, I wasn't trying to draw John Heyl and whoever played Brinker because one: I can't. And two: John Heyl was blonde and Finny was not.

This was done for a dA contest having to do with the Beatles and fanart and the number eight. Some CG thing with Wall-e won. Anyway, mine had to do with "Strawberry Fields Forever." You know, trees and things like that.
