Wow! I can't believe that I'm up so late. I've got to get to my Mc Job tomorrow by 11AM. heh! Yep, the ole girl has been reduced to working at McDonald's! I won't even embarrass myself by mentioning how little I'm paid, but for now, it pays the bills. I live with other people and that's the only reason why it comes anywhere close to paying any bills. Since I am the bread winner in my family, it has to make ends meet whether it's enough or not. Thank Goth for roomies. Anyway, I'm working my ass off again to get into the US Army. Can you imagine? Lil' ole me? Making bombs out of coffee and all... (I think that's just an old wive's tale, but I'll let you know). Thanks to those of you who kept me as friend for the long time that I've been gone. And screw you to those who wrote me off, not just online, but in real life as well. Anyways, My life has undergone some MAJOR changes... I am married AGAIN.... Have a little boy named Alex who will be 2 in Feb! He is the light of my life, and I love him. I'll try to post some pix if I can get some. I nearly died while having him. I sprung a leak and almost bled to death. I had to get 4 bags of blood and that was only cause I refused to take the six they wanted to give me. But it was totally worth it. Can you all believe that I'm 36 now? What a total trip!!! And joining the Army at this age??? Of course, I wanted to be a soldier when I was just a little girl, so it will be a bit of a dream come true in a way. It'll be TERRIFYING in another way. After all, these aren't the most peaceful of times. I really can't wait to go, though. I'm trying to get stationed in Japan since I've always wanted to go there. My recruiter said that I'm going to do basic in N. Carolina which should be interesting since I've never been there before. That's good since I don't really want to go anywhere that I've ever been before except maybe for my true love NOLA. I miss it, it's always been home. My husband doesn't understand it.... He just sees the hurricanes and the bad publicity. He doesn't see the spirit, the history, the art, the music... How could he, he's never been there. And if he did all he'd pro'lly see would be the Mardi Gras and that's the worst of New Orleans, by a long shot! It does NOT show what New Orleans really is. Anyways off that rant, right? Of course, he's also from New Jersey, and there's not a whole lot of good said about the "Bastard sister of New York" right?
I gotta go to bed now.
CIAO y'all
Thanks to Dustin for the use of his Mac!
