That guy is from a reserve unit in New Orleans. He didnt put up the infamous quote your talking about. He was actually just trying to get a feel good pic to show years later to friends and families and some liberal anti war jerk changed the writting and sent it into the news

It was something to the effect of "Marines liberated me from Saddam" or "Go USA". I cant remember now. Basically he was trying for a yay America pic and things just got screwed
