A thought on something that pisses me off

It really annoys me when someone who is not an artist looks a piece of works and says that is horrible i could do that so much better and blah blah blah. This annoys me for several reasons. One being that usually I hear this from people who do not do any type of art and they make these claims. In my mind it is redicous because mostly likey they will do it just as sucky as it was already done. This also bothers me because when you do a piece of art it because apart of you espically it is something you spent a lot of time on. It is something that you feel connected with and people will just come and say this is a piece of shit with out even batting an eye lash. I have had this done to myself on occasion from people who dont do anytype of art. I guess a lot of people dont realize what goes into some pieces all the hours and energy. Some people spend there whole lives working on pieces and the for some who doesnt know anything about art to tell them its worthless and that they could do better.

I'm not sure why I am thinking aboit this tonight its just something that annoys me about people. I just think that people who dont know what they are talking about shouldnt trash peoples work because they dont know what is going in to it. Also the piece might be something simple and they are say they could do that so what is the point. The point is that you arn't doing it. You didn't get up and paint this or make that. They did and thats what matters. IT may be simple but your not the one taking a chance on it.< /rant >
